Mission Statement for the Catholic Parishes of Sacred Heart and Saint Brigid in Lexington, Massachusetts

Called by God, rooted in Jesus Christ, and guided by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to support and nurture a Catholic Christian community;
to learn, love and share our faith; to worship God in word and sacrament, centered in the Eucharistic celebration;
to provide opportunities to enrich our prayer and our spiritual lives;
to serve those in need and work together to respect the earth and one another;
to encourage and welcome all who seek communion with God;
to acknowledge and embrace the rich diversity in our community of faith;
and to reconcile ourselves with God and one another
