SPEAKER: Margery Egan, Boston newspaper columnist and radio talk show host, will discuss why, even after recent turmoil, the Catholic Church still has much to offer.

 


Oct. 12th  The Necessity of a Public Spirituality for Christians Today

SPEAKER: Dr. Daneil O’Connor, Boston College will address our needs as we move into an increasingly secular world.

 


Oct. 19th  The Psychology of Jesus

SPEAKER: Dr. Georgiana Donadio-McCormack, award winning nurse advocate, founder of National Institute of Whole Health and host of the long running, nationally syndicated show, Woman-to-Woman on Boston Catholic TV, will help us to see the wisdom of Jesus through the eyes of many different cultures.


Oct.26th  Breaking the Dynamic of the Power Struggle

SPEAKER: Sal Caraviello, Director of Ministries, St. Mary’s Parish, Winchester, MA. Using Jesus as our model, this talk is centered on the basic struggle we all encounter – our relationship to power and weakness – and how we can rise above it to lead to a more service driven life.

 


Nov. 2nd  Discernment and Spiritual Direction: What is it that you ask of me?

SPEAKER: Sister Catherine Mulkerrin, Spiritual Director and Retreat leader, will help us to understand what is of God and what is not, and will explain the process of “Spiritual Direction”.


Nov. 9th  Marriage, Family and the Christian Woman in Today’s Modern Work-a-day World.

SPEAKER: Father Martin Hyatt, Director of Cursillo, St. Basil’s Seminary, Methuen, MA. A truly dynamic speaker, guaranteed to inspire.


Nov. 16th  Can Martha Have a “Mary” Christmas?

SPEAKER: Brenda Poinsett, author and inspirational speaker, will use the biblical story of Martha and Mary to offer tender insights, practical suggestions and touching stories that will bring Joy to the Christmas season, the most “Martha” time of year.


Nov. 23rd  THANKSGIVING - No WINGS Meeting


Nov. 30th  WINGS Retreat and Christmas Luncheon

Sister Mary Lyman will guide us through a spiritual renewal as we prepare for Advent, followed by a catered banquet. (Details to come later)
